Hello, everybody! :)
I'm not really sure what to say, so I guess I'll just dive right in! :D
I'm Mya-re. :3 I'm 12 years old and I live in Australia!
I've loved mermaids since I was little. I had memorised 'part of your world' and sung it all the time when I was about 3 or 4, haha >u< I can also remember vehemently arguing with some of the school bullies/popular girls about whether or not mermaids were real when I was in 3rd grade, haha ^^ It mostly consisted of them denying that mermaids were real while I tried to land a kick to one of their shins :P
I found MerNetwork a little over a month ago and I've finally gotten up the guts to make an account :P
I really love singing, playing video games, cooking, Homestuck, anime/manga and lots of other stuff C:
I'm currently trying to save up for a tail, which is made a bit difficult considering I can't get a job because of my age! ><
I'm still trying to think up a Mer-name, and I'm leaning toward Cordelia, which means 'Daughter of the sea'. :B Plus, I think "Mermaid Cordelia" has a nice ring to it! :D
Uh, I'm not quite sure how to go on, so... yeah! :]
I hope I posted the thread the right way, I can be pretty horrible at this type of stuff >.>

I used to say the same kind of thing :P There's still species of whales and sharks and fish and everything being found, so why not mermaids too?
