Help a Merbie (new mermaid) out.

Ok I understand that there are MANY places on this website that probably have the answer to this question, but I want to know everyone elses experiences and suggestions....

I am doing a fabric, sequin tail and wanted to add some paint effects in there as well.

I HAVE read a lot of "use this paint" or "use that paint"....

So I am looking for what everyone has used, tried, didn't like, LOVE to help me out.

I'm using folkart acrylic paint on my lycra tail, but iv read that t-shirt ink is the best way to go.

I Will have to look at that. I just remember my mom telling me not to use acrylic paint on fabric...

You always can use fabric-paints and heat-set it ;)

I'm going to be painting my fabric tail with Jacquard Lumiere fabric paints this afternoon... I'll let you know how it goes :)

Thanks Jadestone i'd appriciate it very much. Now as far as heat setting it, can i just use my blow dryer?

Well I got my sequins today. I think my black ones will show up tomorrow. Hopefully. Make my fluke design and my mom is helping me make my tail hope fully in a month it will be done. Lol and sure it will still be 80• here lol
