I want to get in water and test it out! *giggle* I need to add more green to the belt I think. Hopefully I can get in some water this weekend.

That looks great. Where did you get the shells from?

Craft store had them. I laid out all the large shells the had and picked the two that looked the most alike.

Cool, thanks. Hopefully my local Michaels will have them.
I really want to make one now! Yours is so pretty, it looks like it was done by Raven! <3

What does everyone think about taking an old bra and covering it with the same material as the tail and sequins and adding a little flair like what Little Orca did? fishnet netting, seashells, etc? do you think it'd work?
by the way lil orca GREAT JOB!

a lot of craft stores have them. though when you get plants you wanna go with plastic rather than silk cause silk will fray and lose color (mine did :$) but if you dont find it at stores try online (I got most of my items online since I live no where near an ocean)

The only complaint is that the green stuff scratches my arms. I am going to rework it a little to see what I can do about that. Also, after 2 days out and about at the pirate festival one shell came off, as did a sea horse. No biggie, easy fixes. :) To keep up moral, here is an adorable picture!
