Do you feel urges to be in the ocean? Do you feel like the ocean is where you belong?

Yess! so often! i stay in the giant waves, feeling their power and emotion, opening my eyes up underneath the water and looking out into the unknown, while my friends suntan on the shore. if i don't get a house or at least a vacation home by the beach, i will cry for days. I just know i will. I do feel like the ocean is my second home. I understand it's feelings, i'm sensitive to it's emotions, and i bask in it's beauty and power every day. I feel very safe in the water.

Not so much the ocean in particular, but I feel much more at home in water in general. Water is my element, as appossed to my friends

Oh yes. I made the mistake of moving away when I thought I had no choice... I felt it so strong when I was away... I have several videos of various coasts, ocean waves I can play for endless hours, and we slept with them on every night. But it of course isn't the same. So three years later, I'm finally back at my beloved coast. As I said to someone recently, I never stopped feeling that call.

Today my 3 year old had her first experience in the ocean water. She was thrilled, and such a natural... when it was time to leave, she didn't want to. She also kept trying to run straight out into the waves- which is both awesome - no fear- and terrifying- no fear! llol She lost her footing and fell over one time, and got up with kelp wrapped around her leg. The sea gave her a hug. She can't wait to go back.

It's funny, I was wearing a skirt and blouse, but with bare legs and feet and my daughter was in shorts and a t-shirt and we got soaked and because beach people totally get that, no one blinked an eye.

Nothing like it. Nothing.

There was a river, a very large river, where I was. But not only is that not quite the same for me, this river must be not quite right, because as I approached and expected to feel that sort of life force a river usually has... it was flat, just... sadly empty of vibrancy.

I am not a good swimmer (I only swim underwater, and even then, only where I can stand up if need be) and I wear glasses which help me to the point where I would be blind without them, so that does not aid my swimming either. But the ocean is a beautiful place of magic and mystery, and though I am afraid of crabs on the shore, I have loved standing in the water and feeling it's powerful rush.
My natural element is fire (I'm a Leo) so does that prevent me from ever having a true connection with water? Is this why the world is against me becoming what I am meant to be--a mermaid?

"Mermaid urges" is what I call them, haha. Sometimes you just feel like you need to be in water. And sometimes water is so pretty you just want to jump in it! Preferably in tail ;) I get them with fountains a lot here lately.

There's actually a little road game I play where I look down the area surrounding the road and guess where rivers, ponds, etc would be.

Kaitlyn, a false prediction about Leo's being fire elementals and Scorpio's (myself) being water and so on, it should never hold you back! Be whoever you want to be and don't think that horoscopes choose your life for you. If you really do believe in horoscopes and that fire is your element, than that is fine. But if a mermaid is what you want to be, than be it! Live your own life, because you only get one. <3 Kalani
