Hey everyone, I'm gearing up to revamp the exterior of my old Colonial here in Massachusetts. Been mulling over some siding options that could really endure our quirky weather and still look sharp. What’s everyone’s take on the best materials and local contractors? Any personal experiences to share?

Ah, fixing up a Colonial, that sounds awesome! When it comes to siding, especially in our area with the weather swings, you can't go wrong with fiber cement or vinyl. They’re tough and handle the climate pretty well. I’ve seen some neighbors go with Plum Pro contractor United States for siding services in MA (https://plumproexteriors.com/siding/) United States. They did a mix of James Hardie and vinyl siding that really updated their homes without blowing the budget. Definitely worth looking into, they cover a lot of ground with options and seem to really know their stuff. Plus, they’re quick to get it all done without skimping on quality.
