So i was watching the Movie She Creature/The Mermaid Chronicles again cause i absolutely adore the movie and i was pausing it a lot to get a look at the tail.
at first i thought it was just this oddly split tail that was suppose to mimic seaweed or something but after pausing so many times that it took me four hours to finish the movie i realized it was an odd structure for a tail and looked a little like the flippers of a seal.
so i went to the internet and went searching for anything i could about the movie production and the tail construction. i didn't find
much but i did find some stills of the tail pre-production and i wonder what could it take to make a tail like this
and how would you describe this kind of tail if anyone can knows

I was thinking about that movie a while back.I haven't seen it on Dish for a while..It's a cool movie! I loved the eerie music too.

This is similar to the Starbucks logo--a siren instead of a mermaid I think is the technical term lol

Hello Prince Calypso (http://mernetwork.com/index/member.php?122-Prince-Calypso) this is such a great find indeed, im asking for a friend, were you able to find anyone that knows how to make a fabric tail like the one in She Creature? trying to help a young lady get her dream tail, and this is what she wants but in different blue colors any advise would be appreciated thanks

actually, it's pretty easy to make a tail like this (fabric or other) with bi-fins.

I'm half tempted to make one myself, but I'm head over ears into other projects ;)

The closeups remind me a bit of a leafy seadragon.
