So I am a gamer. Love games. Currently playing Guild Wars 2 and LOVING it! Was just curious to see if there are any other gaming mers out there too!

Xbox 360, PS3, Computer, 3DS, Wii. Yeah, I play with all of those, to say I'm a serious gamer is an understatement. I am currently on my second go in Skyrim. I love most games, Zelda, Elder Scrolls, Journey, Halo... so mostly things that have a good adventurous story, I have a weakness for scary ones like Silent Hill and Alan Awake. I want to play Slender sometime too and I can't wait for the new Thief to come out (if it ever does?)! My husband is the lead designer for TTFusion, they make the LEGO games. So, yeah, I LOVE games. I'm just a big geek in general as I love sci-fi and fantasy books and films too and my whole base of my shop is built on fantasy costumes and SFX. Currently working on Red Riding Hoods cloak atm. Oh, and anime too.

I play the PS2, the WII and the XBox 360. I'm a big Final Fantasy fan and I also played Soulcalibur, Okami, Kingdom Hearts and so on. And also, I have to admit, I love playing Pokémon games on my Gameboy Ds and Professor Layton :-p

I enjoy sandbox style games like the sims for blowing off steam, I really enjoyed most wii games that got me moving, when I was younger I played the final fantasy games and had a rom on my computer so I could play snes and I played a sailormoon game haha. I play Guild Wars 2 and The old Republic at the moment, though I also played Perfect World, but gained no friends on the server :(. Further I play several dance games on the xBox as well the Guitar Hero games. I'm also a D&D player and we are currently doing the Return to Castle Greyhawk story now, were I'm the DM *shifty eyes*

That being said... currently about to finish my first run through of Dragon Age: Origins and absolutely loving it :) I also enjoy Minecraft, though again it's something I can't play during the school year--infinite legos, too hard to resist! Other than those, old gameboy games... kirby, pokemon, spiro, etc. I also like D&D, though my participation in games varies based on semesters.

I used to play WoW hardcore but I've just lost interest in it, and MoP doesn't seem interesting at all to me. Just...Pandas... WHY? I'd rather see Nagas. And I used to play a little Minecraft, but that got repetitive. Oh and I tried Amnesia which was very fun until I got to the wine cellar and couldn't get past it.

@Mermaid Melusinah: I'm currently playing City of Heroes (before it goes offline) and the PS3 game "Odin's Sphere" while making characters for the Dresden Files RPG. I would play WoW but I need to upgrade to Snow Lion or something first now.

@Drowning: I read a lot of tabletop rpgs, though I haven't had the chance to play many of them (finding a gaming group is tough). I also occasionally play board games with friends and cousins of mine... Borogove, Forbidden Island, King of Tokyo, etc. As far as larps, go, I'm still trying to come up with a mernetwork rpg (or get courtney to actually work on hers), but a larp would be a lot of fun.

@iBlondie: I agree, I liked the Worgen and the Draenei and Blood Elves (not to mention Undead and Night Elves from the original offerings), but I'd much rather see Nagas, Dragons, Harpies, Dryads/Keepers, Centaurs, Val'kyr, or Satyrs as a playable race than Pandaren.

well. as for video games, i mostly play pc games (i think its easier for me to control, maybe, im so awkward with controllers.) so on pc, i play:
- star wars: the old republic (an EXCELLENT game, btw)
- dungeons & dragons online (not so much anymore)
- dc universe online (mostly just to pass time. its fun though)
im thinking about trying lord of the rings online... but im not sure yet.

and on console, i only play a few, and its sort of rare.
- skyrim (just made a character the other day)
- assassins creed (i suck, but its such a good game i just have to try sometimes)

I'm a serious Silent Hill fan. And my hubby and I both fight over the PS3 and Diablo III. We used to both play WOW pretty heavily, and that's actually how we met! We've weaned ourselves off of it though, especially since Diablo came out. And we love tabletop games, I'm a pretty mean 4th Edition DM. :P

I was actually sooo the same way the first time I played...and I still kind of am. It's not uncommon (and I've played them over and over again!) for me to screech. I knew he was there. I knew that after the cutscene the monster was coming....yet for the 20th time I'm screeching and tossing the controller, and hubby is teasing me. Old habits die hard. lol But the storyline and art and concepts are so amazing, it's hard not to play through, just so you can understand them. I love the zombie shoot em up games too, but none of them hold a candle to the art of Silent Hill. That being said I might be a twisted mermaid...:S

I'm an MMO girl. I used to be addicted to WoW. I'm currently addicted to Atlantica Online which is awesome. I also still play Pokemon on my GBC. I grew up on Mario and Donkey Kong. I also have to admit I'm addicted to hidden object games on my ipad.

I play D&D regularly at the moment, which is awesome!

As for video games, I play quite a lot but I'm really not up-to-date. I have N64, Wii and DS, and yet 90% of my gaming is on the N64. It just never gets old, dammit!! Banjo Kazooie is pretty much the best game ever. :p I know, I'm so not hardcore.

I do get sporadic addictions to newer PC games though - I played Baldur's Gate 2 for like... days on end. My latest is Portal 2. Again, behind the times, but it's awesome!

I play games sometimes. My sisters and I play a lot of Gamecube games, and I play Sims on Gamecube and PC. (Not often on the computer though, sims 3 is addicting) Gauntlet: Dark Legacy is fun, but I always die and end up watching my sisters play until I can come back after they finish. I also play Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing as well. I had the game boy Sword of Mana, but it was given to my neighbor when my mom guilted me into giving the girl my gameboy and my Harvest Moon game :doh:, but now I'm playing Children of Mana. :)

edit: I also really wish I had the right system to get Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch when it comes out next year in North America, but I only have DS, and Ni No Kuni is not coming out in English for the DS, so I'd have to order from Japan, and I don't know very much Japanese.

My favorite game of all time, tho, is The Sims. I've been playing that for over 10years now XD

I also enjoy RPGs such as Morrowind, TBS, FPS like Medal of Honor and I used to be really into the MMO WoW.

I have a friend who is heavily into table tops. I used to go over to his place once a week to try something new, but it's been months since I've been over there and I can't remember the names of any of those T_T

I'm super addicted to the Harvest Moon games (I seriously found a SNES emulator for my smartphone and was so excited when they had Harvest Moon). I even pre-ordered one of the games for a console I didn't even own once just so I could get the little stuffed Harvest Moon sheep they were offering.

I have a PS3 and Wii. My PC can't handle games right now. I also have a GameCube but it's not hooked up ever since I've been informed that Wiis play GameCube games. I might give it to my niece, but she's not even two yet so I don't think it'd do her much good!

I honestly have no idea... but i have always said that underwater aspects of so many games are super over looked. I would LOVE a game that plays as well as any other with nothing but water theme. i mean the potential there is immense! the graphics would be incredible and just the sheer awesome of it... The only game that i have see that i can say that has worthy underwater anything really (that I have personally played myself) is Guild Wars 2. They made it feel like a whole world! not just a space or area you travel through.

If I find any that have a good strong water theme to them, I'll be sure to let you know!

Side note for all you D&D fans... Any one else excited about NeverWinter? >_>

Have you guys played Primal? It has a whole underwater zone and "undine" form. Also, of course, kingdom hearts has the atlantica areas. Demon Crest for super nintendo had a cool underwater form as well.

I'm glad you think so! It gives me hope! I'm in a big cosplay group that dresses up as the Marines (there's a pic in another thread somewhere where I painted a mermaid on my armor) and a lot of the guys are really hardcore nitpicky fans that aren't enjoying it as much as they hoped, but I'm not one of those types so I think I'll like it. I think I'm the last person in the group to be getting the game, but it's worth the wait to get a free copy! There's also a lot of hoopla you may've seen about the release and how it kept getting pushed back and isn't the same game as the playable demos they had at Cons.

I never owned a game until I fell ill and had to stay in bed for several years.

Thus I discovered games, and I must say SL and WoW saved my life (literally).
Later on, I fell in love with Final Fantasy (especially 4).
I tried some asian MMOs, but I couldn't get into them despite wanting to play a chinese game badly.
So I loved when MoP came out, lol!
Couldn't care less about Pandas, though.
I had been hoping for years Naga would become playable, so meh.

SL would still be great if I had people to meet, or things left to do.
It's a platform really, not a "game" giving out virtual tasks to burn your time :)
Therefor, not many get into it despite it being awesome for creating your own stuff exactly as you want it.

Nowadays, I just prefer First Life over it all :D
Why should I swim around in SL as a mermaid when I can do so for real?

I've played D&D a tiny bit, and I got Airship Pirates by Abney Park a couple of years ago for Christmas (And got it signed when I got AP to come to Denver!!!), but no-one out here wants to play because they're all lame and just want to go all South Park on their various MMOs... :P

Dance games, Wii, MARIO CART! Legend of Dragoon, Kingdom Hearts, some Final Fantasy, Cooking Mama, Metal Gear Solid, and though I haven't had the chance to play all the way through, Zelda. I've had a couple of PSPs that I always end up getting stolen from me or have to sell... oh, and Lemmings. Got snowed in at a friend's hose when we were trying to move him across the state, and we unpacked the Xbox and played Lemmings for like 5 days...

I started MMO gaming with Lord of the Rings Online back in 2007, in open beta, and still play it some (Arkenstone server). My main game is Age of Conan (Set server), which does have some underwater stuff, but no battles or anything. I also play Guild Wars 2 (Ehmry Bay server) and yes, their underwater stuff is pretty fantastic! I have tried Rift and Aion, but they didn't work for me. I HATE playing alone, so I have never gotten very far with RPGs. (Bought Dragon Age: Origins, but never got very far with it.) I have some friends who talked me into getting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Left 4 Dead, but I am really lousy at them, I suspect they talked me into trying them mostly for the amusement value! ;) Good to hear there are so many other gamers out there in mer-dom!

I've heard of Dead Space being a good game and super creepy. My roommate said that FEAR is prety much a shooter game? I'd love to see a bit of game play, but I'm not big on first person shooters.

FEAR is a first person shooter- so you might not really like it. but dead space was an amazing game. all 3 of them. I played it with noise cancelling headsets and the lights out (I'm super hard core... I know :P /sarcasm ) and it scared the carp outta me.

FEAR is a first person shooter- so you might not really like it. but dead space was an amazing game. all 3 of them. I played it with noise cancelling headsets and the lights out (I'm super hard core... I know :P /sarcasm ) and it scared the carp outta me.

I have no idea if I've posted in this thread before or not, but...

I'm a gamer! My gf actually finally hooked up our tv to the computer so we can have a better screen going when we play mmo's together. I'm kind of a Nintendo fan girl, so most of my favorite series and games come from them. The Legend of Zelda is tops in my book; my favorite game being Links Awakening.

Does anyone have mermaidy game suggestions? I know Lanai said she plays Endless Ocean, which I recommend to anyone who has a Wii. There aren't any mermaids, but you travel around the world and dive in lots of fun locations. The main plot is really interesting and magical, but there are lots of side quests and other things to do too. I've finished both games in the series (although I have lots of little things to complete to really get it finalized) and I really hope they make more.

Though they're not mermaidy per se, they're ocean themed and I enjoyed playing them, and Aquaria is about as close to a mermaid game as I have found ;)

Game Night!

In prior adventures, the party ventured into the seemingly abandoned undersea fortress of Dramij to rescue the child Jaenan. There they encountered the devil rays known as ixitxachitl, an amorphous ooze known as the Living Song, and the last creation of Dramij - the Temporal Prognosticator. Though the devil rays had imprisoned Jaenan within the device, the novice Chronomancer was unable to control it. Once more, she was lost in the Stream of Time.


In tonight’s game, the party enjoys a bit of a rest in a merfolk city near the wizard’s fortress. Within a taven known as Highwater they met a psionic salt hag who went by the name of Mama Redfish. She knew a bit about nacremancy, the magic of pearls, and the secrets of the unusual gems found within the oversized sea urchins indigenous to the region. The party has learned that one of their party had been body-swapped with an ixitxachitl. And yet all is not as it appears.

I play Perfect World International. One of the races is a Tideborn which are ocean people that can change into a mermaid when you are resting to get mana back!
I haven't played Guild Wars 2 in months, not enough lvls or stuff to do. I have a variety of games that I flit from. Wow, Rift, D3, The Elder Scrolls series and Neverwinter. Haven't played them much lately, got tired of grinding the levels, then grinding to get gear to get better gear for raids, then getting more gear for heroic raids and stuff.

PC games: SWTOR, haven't played in a couple of months and there's a couple of patches to be done before I can play again.
Consol: mainly my 3DS, with pokemon, zelda, rabids and sonic, unless over a friends place who have other consoles then I play what ever is going XP, as long as I'm not alone as I really suck at shooting and am a better medic/re-spawn point.

Perfect World and Jade Dynasty were 2 of those pretty games I gave a try, but couldn't get into despite my love for anything asian.
JD was just too automated and the controls were weird.
PW was so pretty and all, I made a tideborn of course (the reason I looked into it :p),
but somehow I lost all interest before I even reached the level where one gets the waterform...

Maybe I'll give it another try when the Acti-Blizz-dumbs really go through with their idea to sell geared 90s with maxed professions.
I'd take ANY F2P game over that money-grabbing BS!

Oh, I also leveled a LOTRO character on Laurelin for roleplay several times, but I wasn't a fan despite being a big Tolkien geek :( (maybe that's why :p)

As of right now, I primarily play my 360, but I've been gaming since I was two (Spyro the Dragon ftw) so the list is faarrr too long to post. I have a Nintendo DS, but it's really only used for Pokemon. I couldn't really get into the game style of the Wii, even if it came to games such as Resident Evil. I'm also building up my Chaos Space Marine army in Warhammer 40K and am an avid DnD player as well. I guess my current fixations would be anything by Bethesda Studios and Assassins Creed IV Black Flag, mainly for the scenery, seeing as it has an almost entirely different feel from the rest of the series. Depending on the FPS I quite like those. Not much for COD. This post ended up longer than I expected, haha.

So, searching for the Zora Queen theme to put in the Mermaid Music thread, I got nostalgia hooked and went listening to Zelda songs on YouTube, when I ran across this:

This lead me to remember something that I've only shared with a handful of people. Mostly becuase I was a pre-teen when this happened, and I knew people would think I was making it up. Or think I'm crazy, which you may think anyway, hah ;)

So here's my strange little story:
Over 10 years ago, I found a Zelda OoT soundtrack for sale on eBay. I HAD to have it, I paid like $35 for it, but I didn't even care that I overpaid because I wanted it so much! It had the Song of Storms as one of the tracks. Freaky part: whenever I would play this song, within 24 hours it would rain. I noticed it after a while, and was a little weirded, out but I knew logically it was just coincidence.
But always within 24 hours.. all but when I went on vacation to the British Virgin Islands. I played it on repeat for hours and hours because it matched the rocking of the boats when we were sailing, has the feel like a sea shanty, and let's face it- it's catchy and sticks in your brain! Plus I had a limited amount of CDs I brought with me since we had a crap ton of stuff we had to fly with for this trip (we had two other bags just for snorkeling gear and stuff). My father had gone to sailing school so he could be the captain of the sailboat (50 footer) and me and my siblings the crew. We sailed around the islands for 2 weeks. Clear skies.. until the last day. We were sailing back to return the boat and fly home, and out of nowhere we got hit with what we found out later was a TROPICAL STORM. The railings were in the water, lose line nearly took my brothers head off, I nearly fell off the boat, and we damn near hit a freaking island! We had to motor back to Tortola after it cleared, becuase the storm SHREDDED OUR SAILS. So.. yeah. Will never forget how this song somehow, for a year, the Song of Storms use to be more than just a catchy Zelda tune.

Not so much time spent in portal... Great game, great story, but once you solve the puzzles (at least in Still Alive) and get all the achievements, the game was a little dull. Amazing to play though.

Have you played the second Portal game? It's very interesting and much much longer, and there's online multiplayer too.

In the last few sessions the party discovered that their supposed benefactor, a salt hag known only as Mama Redfish, tried to poison them with venom from a rare silver sea urchin. Within an undersea tavern called the Highwater, the party healed Mama's last victim, a crabman known as Gekar. They were visited by an elderly merman named Varian, who told them how Mama had appeared after the massacre of the king and queen of Tridacna. "It was a real blessing, that was." he had said "She helped calm folks down. Granted, she has a temper, she does. But she was good at talking with folks." The salt hag apparently escaped, using a magical portal, leaving the party to ponder their next course of action.

I'm a long time gamer though with a very narrow scope. I'm an Elder Scrolls and Pokemon lover for electronics stuff, I've had love affairs with Bioshock and Mass Effect and will return to them as soon as I find what box they got in when I moved. Other then that I love tabletops, a good game of munchkin or a session of World of Darkness is just my cup of tea. Currently I'm GMing a nWOD game from their Innocents book, it's shaping up to be a great campaign.

Casual gamer. I play Zelda and Pokemon games more than anything else. I prefer consoles to PC, though right now I really only have a Wii and a Gamecube as well as a Nintendo 3DS.

I tend to go through phases where I don't touch my systems for months at a time and then decide I want to play something and play through a whole game for a few days. I've probably played through Windwaker, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword at least half a dozen times each. I absolutely love them.

Online I play Flight Rising and recently also got into School of Dragons which I kept seeing on TV after the HTTYD2 release.

Ok, so the furthest my video-gaming skills go is PvZ, Raymon Origins, Half a game of Pokemon Ruby and I am capable of walking and swinging a sword in Skyrim(swinging it in the correct direction is another matter...). I've never been beaten in Rummy or Go fish. I love Dominos and.... I play Dungeons and Dragons. The last time I played was yesterday and the leave-off is something like this:

Bad News?: My character is unconscious, on the back of her familiar(who is racing away from a fire and her party), through a forest cursed with a blackness that spreads and sucks the life out of anything not magically protected. "Oh! and by the way... Nyssa,.... the forest is on fire"
Good News?: Her familiar is a large magic Dire-Badger....
Five minutes of play later: Another player's character is looking in the woods for mine and uses her fingers for a wistle of dog-wistle porportions.
Good news?: My badger is found.
Bad news?: My unconscious character is not with him.

Sad thing is that the rest likes to get into trouble which makes me have to think up stories and lies so that the owner of the town doesn't kick us out yet without getting our ship refitted... But I was able to pull it through and now have our own 'new' ship and we can set sail again to become a free pirate... or so we hope ;)

Oh jeepers, there's way too many games for me to list off. A few of my favorites were Cosmic Arc (Atari), just about any NES game, Bloodrayne 1 & 2, any SIMS type game, Kingdom Hearts games, Parasite Eve, Lego games, Disney Infinity, Sonic games, Wolfenstien on the PC, and yeeeeah I'll stop now but you get the idea. I've had so many different game systems from Atari up to the Wii and PS3 (looking into getting the WiiU and a PS4), my favorite system was my Sega Genesis CD with the 32X attachment. Darn thing looked like a giant UFO on my coffee table! LOL Good times...

Unfortunately I haven't had much time to play really anything other than an app game on my iPhone called Mermaid World that I've been terribly addicted to. I did try Mermaid World Stories but that got boring quickly.

I do like cards against humanity though, that's always fun. I also play Liar Dice with the pirates a lot of Thursdays. We go out to a pub and play some games, last time I played it I got three wins in a row.

Try running a mid-level undersea game of D&D online via a chat room, sometime. As I also use the prior ruleset (3.5e) I'm lucky to have three players, these days. Granted, 5e comes out soon.

In last week's installment of my weekly D&D game, the PCs explored the supposedly haunted palace where the merfolk king and queen were butchered. There they discovered that Mama Redfish, the salt hag they once trusted before she tried to poison their dinner, was controlled by her underling, the crabman Gekar. They discovered that their enemy, the blackwater hag Diadema, was behind it all. Having lost her hand to regain control of her mind, Mama Redfish was keen to find a replacement that would enable her to continue practicing Nacremancy, the magic of pearls. Mama discussed her time in the subterranean body of water known as Darksea, a realm below the Sunless Sea. She also knew of a magical hook that was once worn by an aquatic hobgoblin pirate king.

Speaking of gaming, I am debating my options. Do I continue to run my 3.5e D&D undersea game that I have run online via IRC each Sunday since 2007? I am down to three PCs, these days; an oceanid wizard/Oneiromancer, a sea elf Blackwater ninja, and a lizardman druid. Do I rock the boat and change the ruleset from 3.5e to the newer 5e? I did as much with my last game, an undersea play-by-post that went from 1e to 3e in one fell swoop. Or do I start anew, with an undersea entry-level Pathfinder/Cerulean Seas game run online with the more robust virtual tabletop Roll20?

Yes, finding new blood for a game like mine is difficult. Most folks have either moved on to newer rulesets, or they prefer not to game online, or they cannot meet on Sunday nights. And yeah, setting the game entirely underwater has scared off the lion's share of prospective players.

Yeah me too XP Loved the first Dragon Age, wasn't as much of a fan of the 2nd. I'm waiting on reviews for the next one, which I'll be waiting for the price to go down in the mean time anyway haha. I think I'd love Assassin's Creed but never started on it. I haven't played too many games in recent years- even though I love them- because once I get into a game I don't get much else done til it's done :P That was one of the reasons I quit WoW, and also why I haven't touched Skyrim.

Though the fifth edition of the Dungeons & Dragons ruleset is now in a staggered release, I have given some though to trying my hand at a Pathfinder campaign. Based in part upon the System Reference Document, the core rules of 3.5e D&D provided as part of the Open Gaming License, Pathfinder has evolved into a its own compelling adventure game.

Unlike D&D, where the Dungeon Master and players have separate rulebooks, Pathfinder provides the Core Rulebook, placing player and Game Master rules into a single volume. There are monster tomes known as Bestiaries, additional books for GMs and players, and books that expand the bases of magic, monsters, races, and classes. These books are readily available as hardcopies and PDFs.

The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game is released under the Open Game License and has a System Reference Document of its own, an online compendium known as the Pathfinder Reference Document.

In 1998 I started my first undersea campaign, “Beneath the Pinnacles of Azor’alq”, a first edition Advanced D&D play-by-post adventure. In 2007 I created “Heirs of Turucambi”, a 3.5e D&D chat-based game set beneath the surface of the Oljatt Sea on Oerth, the World of Greyhawk. I currently run this game each Sunday night. 

Alluria Publishing has created a series of robust undersea supplements for Pathfinder, starting with the Cerulean Seas campaign setting. I would utilize these supplements, also available in printed and electronic formats, for my Pathfinder endeavors.

My current undersea game uses a simple chat interface, Internet Relay Chat or IRC. Should I run a Pathfinder/Cerulean Seas adventure, I would employ a more advanced interface, a Virtual Tabletop application called Roll20. Roll20 allows players to share a common screen, seeing a map of the adventure locale and simple game statistics combined with videoconferencing capabilities. I would use Roll20 in conjunction with Hero Lab, an interactive character sheet.

A minimum investment in my new campaign would be less than $30; $9.99 for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook PDF and $19.95 for the Cerulean Seas Campaign Setting PDF. Access to Roll20 is free. Hard copies of the aforementioned books can be obtained for $50 each. Additional Pathfinder PDFs can be obtained for $10 each, while PDFs of Cerulean Seas supplements range from $10 to $15.

I love games!! I have a 3ds and play a lot of PC games too. I play Pokemon, Zelda and SSB4 demo. On PC I play Portal 2, Strife, Smite, Minecraft, tf2, Sims 4, Firefall, Rift and Star Trek Online. I played slender once and I kept quitting cause it was irritating (not because I was scared).

My experience of Slender, 8 pages.

I was okay to start with. Then I was in the bathroom building. I was looking for a page, after watching youtubers play I realized I couldn't avoid going in there, and I turned a corner and I could just see half of Slender's body at the end of the hallway. So I quickly turned back the other way, and slowly looked back towards where he was. He wasn't there so I quickly went down and out of the building. I looked back once I was away and he was stood watching me by the doorway. I didn't carry on playing. I wasn't scared, I just didn't really feel like I should carry on. I may try it again...

It depends on Legion itself. I've done raiding and though some of it is quite fun and I do enjoy helping others in game. I'm not the kind of person who only cares for epic loots.

I like adventuring around the game, revisiting old places and hanging out in the lands. I like to log in and just sit somewhere for a few hours, just listening to the in-game music of different zones. Or finding the rare battle pet. But you can only battle pets for so long before one gets bored!

And I have high hopes for Legion, but the people in the Alpha said abilities have been pruned even more, so most classes will only have around 3-5 abilities.

I do table top gaming mostly, though I have LARPed in the past. Currently I am a human monk in a Sword Coast campaign, but have played a Human Cleric and a Wood Elf Druid in the past. If you're into D&D, you might want to check out Critical Role on Geek and Sundry. A bunch of nerdy voice actors get together weekly to play D&D on stream. :)

I love table top gaming, D&D, Pathfinder, Monte Cooks WoD etc. One of my friends back in the UK is trying to organise a way through roll20 for me to join in with the fun again.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is my main go to for online gaming right now, it was Guild Wars 2 but I've slowly lost interest in it, maybe one day I'll pick it back up.

Skyrim and Borderlands are two games I'll jump on when I have time, and the wife has currently gotten me addicted to Dragon Mania Legends which is stupid and brilliant at the same time.

My all time gaming passion though is Pokemon, I've been a fan of Pokemon since the original games came out 20 years ago and still play it every day. I love the franchise so much I already have two Pokemon tattoos.

Re: WoD- 2nd Edition was the best Edition, for pretty much anything WoD I think. For Mage: The Ascention is very much was, and there seemed to be far better integration with other WoD systems during that time too.

If you liked the Storyteller system presented via WoD, Exalted might be of interest to you. The core gaming books are REALLY expensive though, but I've heard good things about it.
