A great mantra for you all.

A friend shared this with me today, and it REALLY made me stop, think, and reflect. I shared it on my mer-page and I wanted to share it with you.

I choose... to live by choice, not by chance; to make changes, not excuses; to be motivated, not manipulated; to be useful, not used; to excel, not compete. I choose self-esteem, not self pity. I choose to listen to my inner voice, not the random opinion of others.

I thought it applied to a lot of mer stuff :) trying to always do our best- but not one upping each-other, trying to gain insight from our peers- but still make out own decisions, trying to be proud of what we've done- regardless of our tail types, trying to fire ourselves up with inspiration- not anger etc

It was sort of perfectly timed for me to see it. Gave me a lot to think about. My inner voice said to share it with you so maybe someone out there will get something from it too <3
