What kind of Mer are you?

I think of my self as Selkie. I have my tail on: I am in and of the sea. Without my tail, I am landwalker (runner, if the force is willing). What kind are you and how many kinds to you think of?

Mmm... I'm not sure if I have a kind. I feel a connection to melusine (sometimes depicted as winged mermaids) and tritons and sea gods and sirens and undines and water fae stuff, so I suppose I'm a largely mediterranean take on them, but still. My concept is too fluid and shapeshifter-y to align with any particular cultural image of a merman.

Then we are alike Joy. I feel the same way as I can never be one thing alone. My mind has to many ways to depict myself.

hmm. well, i suppose if sirens are considered more mermaid-like (how i picture them) rather than the greek myths where theyre bird-like, then i think id be a siren.
but id be a siren how i sort of view a siren.
