I am not a memeber (yet) but I keep tabs on the local Surfrider chapter here. I also get posts on facebook from NOAA's page... but that could also tie in for school. lol

Mermaidens are currently mascots for the Australian Conservation Foundation (they're flying us from Melbourne to Sydney tomorrow!!!), they asked us to help them with their campaign for an Australian national marine reserve network :)

I used to intern for NOAA - marine debris section on Oahu. And I did work for the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary one summer.
