My pink, teal, and lavender tail design. (Sequin/ fabric tail)

I STILL don't have a tail yet. I originally wanted to save
up for a Mermaid Raven tail but I don't know if I'll ever
be able to come across that kind of money until after I get my degree.:/
So I decided as an alternative I'd settle with a fabric tail.
Materials will probably cost me around 200 dollars but I'd rather have a more extravagant
tail for that amount instead of just buying a plain fabric one.
I plan on making this using Ilonka's sequin tail
tutorial but it'll probably never happen. :rolleyes:
I almost NEVER finish any art project I start. ( I usually
buy the stuff for it and never finish anything more than half way)
But at least I have this design drawn up so I kinda have
any idea of something that I'd want.
If I ever end up doing this I think I'll add a zipper to the bottom so I could
have multiple tail skins.
The random colored patches are just for reference on where certain
paints will go and where the scale patches will go and I listed
all of my materials needed.
Suggestions, comments, criticisms?

oh yay :D
& shivice, i think she means she wants the monofin to be removable so she can use it in more than one tail "skin". she would have several tails and only one monofin, and whichever one she chose to use, she would just use the monofin in that one.
i think thats what she means, at least.

Thank you :D Yes, that's what I mean by tail skins ^_^ I want to be able to change the colors depending on my mood. I'd honestly have every single color of the rainbow right now if I could.
Besides, who wants to spend 60 dollars on a monofin for each individual tail? >.<

Teal is my "color" persay. :D And I absolutely love the color lavender. Once I get my roots done and my hair cut and toned then I'm dying my whole head lavender. I love dying my hair pretty colors. ^_^
I feel like since I've dyed my hair purple and pink and teal so much why not use them as the first colors of my first tail?
