i have a latex tail on the way for my haloween costume and it's just plain ol lavender colored latex used for bondage outfits etc. i want to add some dimension and i thought glueing some big pailletes on would look like scales. maybe i could add some paint too...? what the heck do i use!?

I think the general community bank of knowledge thinks it's better to sew the sequins on instead of glue- especially if you're putting it on a very stretchy fabric. The fabric will just stretch the glue out of place and the sequins will fall off.

I know Bonnie sewed her sequins on to her latex tail

better 10 months and have sequins that actually stay, then waste money gluing them on only to have them come off and need to be replaced constantly, glue really doesn't work well over anything that is meant to stretch. That's why neoprene that is going to have latex or silicone on it really needs to be stretched much like a canvas to keep it the best- but it still stretches with latex and you get cracks in the latex.
