Natural Pools WITHOUT CHEMICALS :D

Ok so my boyfriend and I were talking about our new pool for later on and I want one large enough I can swim around in my tail but I want to be able to swim with my eyes open without cholorine affecting them. And i dont want the chemicals to effect my latex tail (when I get one) then I found the solution....

The plant life actually filters the water and you use a liner to keep the mud/muck out of the swim area. there would be some normal trimming to keep the aquatic plants out of the swim area but ABSOLUTELY NO CHEMICALS OF ANY KIND!!!!!

I stayed at a hotel once. The pool was saltwater, but it didn't hurt my eyes at all while I was swimming in it. But then later that night I literally could not see, everything was so foggy and blurred I was crying, lol. We have pictures of my eyes swollen. So, yeah. It was nice for the day, but that vacation didn't end well...

Basically you did your structure (they suggest a 1ft vertical drop for every 3 ft horizontal ledge) then you can either use concrete or wood to seperate the plant area from the swim area. some do use liners to make it more like a pool as well.

Actually many outdoor pools in switzerland are low chlorine levels anyway - and often naturally heated. Our local 50m pool (now closed for the season) never gave me eye problems - unlike many indoor pools.

thanks for that roamingstudio...that was helpful i liked the slideshow myths. i can show that to my man and let him decide if he wants to do upkeep on chlorine or not :D
