I'm Koral! At least, that's my mersona, but that's the only name I'll go by around these waters. ;)

I am an artist, moving on to my fourth quarter in Art Institute of SLC. I do have a gallery I made especially for mermaids that has been slowly slowly growing seen here (http://seaspire.deviantart.com/).

Mermaid Lei Loni introduced me to the forum. I'd stumbled on it here and here during the past year, but never joined in cause, well, I was kinda scared. Lei Loni has been boosting my confidence and I already feel a strong finship to her. :D

I am in the process of making my first tail now that I've submerged into the mer world and seen how awe inspired and fascinated people are, when I expected them to ridicule me. I'm so excited to be a part of Lei Loni's group and meet everyone!

I'll give a warning; I can be a really big chatterbox and talk too much. Eh heh heh! Looking forward to getting to know everyone and posting images when I have them!

Mermaid Marla, you are one of my heroes! I used to go to Weeki Wachee almost every summer as a child when we would visit my Grandparents back in the 80's and 90's. I remember staring at all the pictures of the original mermaids and thinking how beautiful and glamorous you all looked. Thanks to you and all of the lovely mermaids at Weeki Wachee for making my childhood magical.

There isn't really a "hoping for" as my major's line of work had a vast pool of jobs to fight for. More like, "what work will you be getting into." LOL
Anyway, I'm in Graphic Design, just switched from Animation. So I will be a "Graphic Designer and Illustrator."

Excellent! My whole family is filled with artists. We're all a little eccentric, and a lot creative. I went to the OWATC for graphic design for a little while, but have since decided that costumes and clothing are more my thing. In the next couple of years I'm hoping to attend Weber State for costume construction and design.
It's my dream to open a costume shop, with specialization in fantasy and medieval-renaissance period wear.

I love creating clothing, but I get far to frustrated with my lame hand-me-down Singer machine. My favorite thing to do is accessories, not that I sit down and do it enough.
