Evil Mermaid tail?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about being an evil mermaid for Halloween. I would need a walkable tail, but I'm not sure if I should try to make it, or order it somewhere? Not sure what kind of design, but something dark. Im thinking sharp teeth, claws, and creepy contact lenses. Any advice?

Merberry Tails posted this the other day... Not sure if they are selling them or not, but it's a least an idea for a walking tail. Maybe if Laamberry see's this they can tell you if you can buy one.

you should so totally got with the teeth! All you need to add is a bit of fake blood ;) you could also do make up that makes you appear pale with suken cheeks. Sort of like a vampire but with a tail...oh! and red or black contact lenses :D

im being a mermaid for a costume party! Im having a normal tail that i will probably wear for like 30 minutes or something, then i will strip it off and have a walkable costume
im having leggings with scales pattern painted on, then where the leggings end (below the knees) im getting a flowing fabric to spread out around to get across the illusion of the fluke :)
there are some awesome contacts out there, even animal ones like cats eyes ets.
and im sure that, with halloween coming, you could find some fake sharp teeth!
Nail polish is always good too! I have a mood nail polish that changes colour by temperature, theres magnetic nail polished and all sorts of weird and incredible effects!!! (Check out the brand: BYS)
And have a prop, maybe jellyfish, a sting ray, sea snake (as Nykur suggested) angler fish....
Shark teeth necklace? Brainstorm, there are lots of things once you get started on ideas!!!

That's a good idea Natasha! I might try something like that for the tail...sounds fairly cheap and easy. As far as the pale skin goes I'm already pretty pale anyway, lol, but yea I thought about almost white or greyish...maybe a slight blue tint or something.
