I managed to borrow a friends underwater camera the other night to film myself swimming ^_^ It is mainly just me swimming around, with a few smiles/waves at the camera, but I thought I would share anyway! :D

I just realized your mername is "Water Child" in Japanese. I loved the 2 videos!! Especially the part where the 2 other ladies joined you in swimming. Are you using a really small mono fin?

Yep, Mizuko is 'water child' :D In the first video I'm wearing a Finis Wave and the second video is a Finis Rapid- I prefer the bigger fluke cos it evens out the size of my hips in comparison! LOL! (that, and its got so much more power! haha!) ;D

This is from my trip back home for Christmas :) Even though its summer here in Australia, at one point it was so cold in the water I shook for an hour after getting out! lol! But it was worth it :) We are very lucky to have such beautiful seas <3

Hello Mizuko, can I ask some questions please?
1) what the pink and black tail is made out of?
2) Also, what size foot you have and did you have to use socks etc in your Rapid?
3) And did you close the end of your fin making it impossible to use the Rapid separately if you wanted?

The reason I ask question 2 is, I have a size 8.5 (U.S. women's) foot, and I have to not only use socks, but put chunks of pool noodle on top of my foot, in between my foot (on top) and the rubber foot pocket, because it is so loose.
and question 3 is because sometimes I want to use my Rapid monofin without the tail so I want to design a fabric tail to go over the Rapid but that will come off...but will still seal (mostly) at the bottom for looks. I'm thinking to use Velcro tabs, I'm hoping that will work, but curious how you did yours. Thanks!!
