I have to write a report on an artist and their life works. While I love art I don't really have a favorite artist. I was thinking and Hannah is a model and since she was the main reason to get me into mermaid I could do a report on her. But its supposed to be about artists. Do you think she could be considered an artist?

I'm a model and I'd have to say it honestly depends on the model and how much they are actually contributing to the photo shoot or whatever. There are a lot of models out there that are basically just coat racks and breathing dolls - doing strictly only what they're told to do. HOWEVER there are models that conceptuatlize shoots and poses. They play a more active role in the creative concept and therefor are artists working towards creating art.
Just my thoughts on the topic in general.

Hannah isn't just a model, she is an actual artist, drawing and painting, http://www.hannahfraser.com/
