i dont know if this belongs here, feel free to move it.

i really want to buy a monofin but there are no retailers in australia, so i must turn to the internet, and i am finding that people are generally using postage and "handling" to completely rip people off.

basically it would cost more than the price of the item to have it shipped here, and i am also finding that some sellers (ebay and other sellers included) are packing on a bigger price to the actual fin.

can anyone please tell me what an honest, cheap shipping price for a finis rapid to melbourne australia would be?

ive had a few quotes and all of them have been wildly differant.

I'm shocked that Australasia doesn't have a mono-fin provider! Have you tried Sweam? That's who I got my fin from, its a Hydra type, pink, but they come in other colors too. They are a European supplier, so they may be better for shipping prices. Also http://www.aquashop.com.au/finis-mono-rapid-fin.html they are in AU and this site www.leaderfins.com ships to AU.

We bought ours from Amazon and the postage was a bit, but nowhere near the actual cost of the monofin. Maybe have a look at some of the sellers on Amazon?
