This was a Mermaid makeup for a short fantasy film called 'Glamour - A Faery's Kiss". This was filmed in a suburb in Sydney, Australia. This was a prosthetic makeup where she had gill pieces applied to her ribs on each side, various latex pieces up her arms and on her jaw, cheek bones and brows spiny pieces using urchin spines, barnacles and pearls. She also had black contacts on. The body was coloured turquoise then covered in liquid latex, then Ky jelly with iridescent powder to give her a wet shine. I also made the latex tail through using a process of life casting, sculpture, molding and latex work and painting.

A Photo of a Mermaid Body painting I did for the first International Makeup Artist Trade show in Sydney. I made the Bra, the Crown and the latex Tail.
