with Halloween so close, some of you may know i build props and do a haunt at my house for kids to trick or treat. thought i would share some pics of what there is out so far even though there is still more to go. please take note of the toxic barrels i built. i'm very proud of them

i am so into halloween. i love doing horrible and grotesque things to my yard, my friends, and my costumes. Recently, the boyfriend and I bought a house with an acre long driveway from the road to the house. We were talking about when we have kids that maybe we will make a haunted drive for people to walk up and down. (not to mention we have 40 acres with ORV trails that we could also make for a haunted woods) is it sad that I get such enjoyment watching other scream in terror? lol

mer_Adella that would be amazing. there are a few haunted woods around here and I love it. we live in a victorian house with a long drive way whats a circle with the island in the middle so there is no way not to get super into halloween here. We usually start planning at the end of the night for next year and try to hit the halloween stores before they close up because they really dont want to pack everything up :) you get some great deals

Lol ya I will start doing that when (if) we have kids because then it would be a treat for them to say "mom, all my friends want to come here for halloween" lol.

Mer_Adella My boyfriend being anti 90 percent of holidays and decorating for them has slowly come around to liking me doing this stuff and he has said that if there is any question of our kids strangness (when/if) we have them he will point blank say its my fault. but i agree it would be awsome for all the kids wanting to come to the house on halloween.
