Anime Fans Unite!!!!

Hey! So, i've seen that many of you seem to like anime; well I LOVE it! I think we need a thread on here where we animeniacs can all talk about new shows, post pictures and drawings and just chat it up!!! Not sure what else to say on this subject, but i'm sure conversations will get going! So, if anyone is a fan, don't feel shy to tell us! We shall unite!!:yay:

Yay! I'm such an anime nerd omg. I've seen so many shows, and read so much manga it's hard to pick favorites!

I enjoyed [adult swim] until they replaced all the anime with stupid shows that are only entertaining to drunk college kids, and the anime that they did keep was cruddy and pushed to 3 in the morning. I used to watch InuYasha and Trinity Blood all the time. Shame. I miss those shows.

It's funny, when I was growing up the only anime on TV was Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, and Astro boy. By the time I got to middle school pokemon got really big and lots of shows came out. We still couldn't find anime to watch on our own, internet was still dial up, and the library didn't have a whole lot. The library luckily had a bit of manga.
Everything I was exposed to was very limited, and now as an adult I find myself picking up manga and anime series.

I'll always love Sailor Moon, I had a pretty bad child hood and her show was a great escape and filled me with hope. I like Chobits, I loved the original pokemon and digimon when they first came out- I was like, 12, lol. I love Peach girl, absolute boyfriend, battle angel (gunnm), inyu yasha, and I think a few more I can't remember off the top of my head.

Oh! Forgot to say! One of my very favorite sites- besides here of course- is this place called AnimeUltima. It is super cool because you can watch just about any good anime you can think of, and they are all in either subtitles or dubbed! Anime Flavor is a good site, and Hulu actually has a pretty good selection too.

I love Anime and Manga :D My drawing style is based on Manga.
Anime's I liked alot are Trigun, Inu Yasha, Fullmetal Alchemist, Midnight Detective, Hellsing (both versions), Elvenlied and Love Hina. I always try to watch them in Japanese as I've seen to many English version with wrong voices for the characters.

yeah, I've come across that far too many times too! I'm also an anime artist, can do other forms of drawing, but anime is my favorite. My favorite shows are Naruto (yeah, im a nerd :) ) Vampire Knight, Host Club, Rosario+Vampire and Mermaid Melody. I've seen many more though!

Hmm my favorite animes.... (not in order) Bleach,Naruto,Vampire knight, Host club, Hellsing, an no exorcist, Konichiwa maid sama, Samurai champloo, High school of the dead. KON is really good and there are a few others I have watched. ^^ And the Last Airbender if you consider it an anime, along with The legend of Korra.

hold up hold up hold up........... when i saw the name of this thread i was like.......OH HELL YEA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my 2 nerd passions are video games and anime/manga! i even cosplay and all that when i can:D i am so happy that i found this thread because now i can learn new anime and mangas and even advice others to see what ive seen :P
i <3 besides all of the ones already posted, i love ( soul eater, FLCL, claymore, berserk, mermaid forest, bokko man, the power puff girls z, tengen toppa gurren lagann) i could go on and on and on and on! but ill just leave this list here :D
Im also going to let you guys know that im saving up to be able to buy a yellow vintage vespa with a P! vinyl sticker on the front.... if u know FLCL then u know what im talking about ;D

Yep! I've read vol1 and I've been looking for the others forever ! ( I refuse to read it online because its so unique and the. Artist deserves payment for that)
