New from Portland, OR

I'm a 34 year old guy from the Northwest that has always been happiest at the beach or in a river. I recently became interested in merfolk after adopting a merman appearance on Second Life, an online virtual world and community (my username is Grim Enigma) and getting into the Mer community there. After awhile I started researching mermaid/merman topics in real life and was surprised there were tails that people could wear and swim around in! I hope to get one soon and am very glad to have found this forum as a great resource.
