I'm curious, do we know for sure that it's a Thom tail? It kinda has the look of a edited tail to me- something about the blending, detail, and light. The transition looks different from what I'm used to seeing from his tails, too.

I've seen a few of the shots now, it's most def Thom styled- I have noticed however that many print adds will photoshop the tails. For instance, his famous photo of Michael Phelps swimming in a mermaid tail actually did have him in a mermaid tail, but they clearly photoshopped it and the other tails.
