there are no monofins in that suit. they are on ebay, and they inflate in the fluke (hard to swim in..i think so) total fetish.

If made functionally, it could just be another way to make elaborate tails, but this particular one does look like a fetish thing only. Latex catsuits are a staple in the fetish community, as is latex clothing, but some of it has moved to the realm of couture fashion.

It's not uncomfortable to wear latex at all, and swimming in it feels unreal! That's just me though. I'd like to have a shot at making a full-body mer-suit! After I make my first tail, of course...

Sheet latex can come in many different colours and types (pearly, metallic, transparent) and you can even get custom marbled effects! A latex catsuit costs anywhere from about $400 and up, that's for a full-coverage one. 'Playsuits' (sleeveless and legless) are cheaper. Add to that the cost of a tail, and something like this would cost about $600 and up, and that's just in raw materials...
