How do you get around on land??

Well I don't have a video yet considering my mode of transportation isn't finished being built, but I took a red wagon, coated in in white masking tape, [apparently red wagons are expensive collectibles] painted it a nice blue color, padded the inside with foam my mom collected when she took apart a chair, then covered the foam in a waterproof tablecloth liner, and then i covered all that ugliness with some shiny silver fabric. Voila! mermaid themed wagon! I can sit in it and have my mertender pull me around, he can actually pull me through sand straight to the water, and its cuter and more efficient than a wheelchair or office chair. I should start a thread about it. xD

I use a wheelchair whenever there is a lot of walking to do (as at fairs and markets). So when at a fair I sometime go as a mermaid (as I do need the chair anyway). Kids love it :D, most of the grown-ups to, but still some think I'm to fat to be a mermaid :(. Some pics of me in my old wheelchair. (http://users.telenet.be/the-mermaid/pics/fenicia/ariel01.htm)I made some kind of cover in blue fabric to cover-up the chair as it was very old and ugly. A pic of my in my new wheelchair. (http://users.telenet.be/the-mermaid/pics/fenicia/mermaid05k.JPG) As the legparts can move up it's much easier to move along without the fluke dragging over the floor. When I'm at a pool with some friends, I just put my tail on sitting n the side or on the stairs. When I have a gig with children, I go in the pool before the kids can and leave again after the have gone.

I butt scoot backwards at the pool and rec centers. If I were at a beach (le sigh, do want), I would totally army crawl and purposely leave a fluke-trail bwuahaha.
