So, I wanted to share an upcoming project I am going to be a part of. It's not mermaid, but I think the content will still relate with you all and maybe get some ideas for how you can do something similar! I do fine art nude modelling, and I'll be working again with a world renown photographer to do some underwater nude modelling. He built a pool IN his studio, and the video shows a photo lapse of it being built! He talks a lot about the process- enough that I think people could re-create it. It's also an extremely interesting video.

MILD NUDITY, nothing offensive, but certainly, not safe to watch at work or school. Even though it's an art youtube. ;) Check it out!

That's really cool! Now I want to make a pool. I should be paying attention to class though, instead of daydreaming about doing mermaidy stuff. :| Too bad it's a little shallow.

That is soooo incredible! I'm sure your pictures will come out awesome when you do it! It just looks so heavenly and it looks just like the famous oil paintings of the past.

my friend mira does tasteful nudes...i never thought bad of her for doing it (she is gorgeous) but my thought was how do you get your signif other to come to terms with you doing nudes on photo? though they are tasteful? she tried getting me to do some with her (the pay was $600 for 1/2hr) and i was tempted but i was worried about telling my boyfriend.
i can't wait to see the amazing shots that you are going to come up with raina :)

My boyfriend is very supportive :) He's never had an issue with it. He met all the photographers too, and we're all friends

i am sure that my man wouldn't have a problem if it was a female photographer...he just doesn't trust other guys when it comes to me being semi-nude lol. what a weirdo lol. i am going to talk to my one friend Casmira and see if she would like to take the photos she's got some good ideas.

I really enjoy listening to artists talk about their work. It was interesting to know how much goes into one shot too. Nice post, Raina.

Thanks for sharing this. Well made video, and you look wonderful in it. I have been considering a studio pool for some time also. For me it would be used outdoors, seasonal only. The biggest difficulty in that would be controlling the light.
