Boba Fett Movie Teaser Cancelled

I wonder why Disney or Lucasfilm decided to cancel the teaser for the Boba Fett movie at the last minute? Given the huge fan base and interest in the character, I feel like such a movie could have been a hit. Does anyone know what could have gone wrong and why a project that was supposed to get a lot of attention never got made? How do fans react to this news?

I was in despair when I heard the news that the Boba Fett movie would never be released. Here the author writes about the fact that it turns out the teaser was ready, but never released and for what reason it happened. And I was wondering why Disney decided to abandon such a popular character? Now I understand what the reason was. I still have hope that the project will be revived in the future.
