Where can I get neoprene in store?

Hi,
I am very weary of ordering things off the internet. Do you know of ANY store that sells neoprene? I would love to buy it in store if I can. I saw a thread that said there was neoprene at Joannes. Do they still ave some? I am looking for 2mm.

My Joannes has never sold neoprene or anything like it. And it's in a very well known town center in Jacksonville. Basically EVERYTHING is found here... But neoprene :(

Mine didn't have any neoprene either, but that's the one closest to my house there are lots more for me to look for it at. I suggest calling to every store that you're willing to drive to instead if driving to everyone wasting gas if they don't sell it

I do agree with Raina, it never hurts to ask! :) My Jo-Annes used to carry three different designs of neoprene: one in blue, pink, and one in what looked like paint splatters against a black background. My store doesn't carry them anymore, but maybe yours still does? Here is the tail that i made from Jo-Annes neoprene

Yeah, I actually think nearly half the questions asked on mernetwork could be answered with a phone call to someone, lol. Just give them a call and ask, if they don't you can always ask if they know of others that do. Get out the old fashioned phone book and call the local fabric stores. Really, no one here can answer your question unless they live by you and have already checked.

They phased it out at the beginning of 2012. There are some stores that still have some left (look in utility fabrics and clearance), but they aren't getting any new in. If you ask an employee, they can look for it in the database and see what stores DO have some left in stock.

Sorry to say, you may have to go to the internet on this one. I've been buying things online for 10 years and have only had issues with people not following through twice. In both cases I got my money back. There is a lot of protection and security with online shopping now! For extra protection, go through either eBay or a seller that will let you pay with PayPal as there is a lot of buyer protection built around those two.

I cleaned out one store, and was able to get 5 yds of the raspberry, 3 of teal, and 1 of the print.
