Made my top. Pic heavy.

Still waiting for my fabric to arrive. Its taking FOREVER!! So I took out my frustration and made a top. ^^

Materials.
Bra,Shells, Glass pearls,plastic aquarium plant,netting, E6000 and fishing line.

I took the "seaweed" and wrapped it in netting. I also put rope in the netting to attach it to the bra but didn't get pics.

Sewed some shells and pearls in the netting.

Cut off the bra straps and sewed the netting on as the straps.

Also added shells and pearls to the sides.

Attached the bra clips to the netting and glued a knot to look like it is tied when I am wearing it.

Thank you! That was the hardest part of the top. It was like putting a puzzle together. If they didnt fit on top of each other right they would not stay.

Wow, that looks great! The multi-shell look doesn't always work out, but you did an excellent job with it! If the straps become really uncomforatable in the shoulder area, they sell small silicone pads to help with that (I got mine at JoAnns, they look like this (http://www.beauty.com/hollywood-fashion-secrets-bra-strap-cushions/qxp211951?catid=268056)). They're made to fit traditional bra straps, but if it doesn't fit right you could probably cut of the top ridge from them and attach them another way.

Well it depends on how much the materials cost. The only things I had to buy was the glue, netting and pearls, I had everything else laying around so I could not give you a price.
I dont know if I will be making them to sell for two reasons. I got the idea to use the netting as back straps from Mermaid Aurora's tutorial, so I would need her permission first. I dont know how well it all holds up yet in the water. I dont wanna sell anyone a product that will fall apart when they use it for the first time. But I have thought about selling them. If Aurora does not mind and it holds up well I would be interested in trying to sell a few.
