Hey mers! We are putting on a mer-meetup on Oahu in Waikiki on the 16th of December! We'll go out on a boat, do some bbq, diving, underwater photography, and just general fintastic fun! If you are interested let me or Coradion know so we can add you too the list!

Question-Is this event going to be on the 16th or the 17th? :) I requested the 17th off of work, but I am stopping by tomorrow so I can see if I can switch the days around, no worries!

Hey, I scheduled a meet-up with everyone on the 17th from a beach, what's going on with the boat? I'm still planning on the 17th...as that is my day off, Ayesha took that day off and spottedcatfish is flying in the 16th so the 17th is the first day she can come. Soo...two events?? Can we get more info about the boat, such as prices? Thanks! :p

We could only get a boat on the weekends, the cost is whatever extra it takes to help feed the crew, so like 10 bucks a person. It's a friend of a friends 40' sailboat and they're up to take us out for free. We just have to buy food, beer and whatever else we want. We can always meet up at the beach on Monday too, but the only time they can take us out for free is on weekends.

Sounds great! I usually work Sundays after 3pm. I dropped by work and the schedule wasn't posted, so I will see if I have to or can switch shifts with someone on the 16th. I think my boss did give me the 17th off. :) My tail just got back to me today too! I am so excited!!! :D So...Silly question, but how does this work exactly? May I bring a friend to help me in and out of my tail and such? Now that the craziness of the semester is calming, I finally have the time to get back into cooking and baking. How many people should I plan to make for if I make something?

The schedule isn't out for that week yet, and it was too busy tonight for me to sit down with my boss. I will hopefully get the 17th off, but I do not think that I will get both days off. I will try meeting with her on Saturday before or after my shift to see what can be done. Also, I totally forgot that this weekend is the weekend that the Aquarium is closed for the marathon, and not next weekend. So I don't think I would be able to make it to the event on the 16th. I should be able to let you guys know this weekend though. :)

I just got my schedule at work tonight and I have Sunday and Monday off! But, I volunteer at the aquarium from 11-1 on Sundays, so I won't be there when you guys are meeting to head out. I have a friend leaving for Denmark that night, so I might head to the beach afterwards and go for a swim with her anyway, so maybe we'll see one another! :)
