Looks like dolphins are getting tired of being put on display while being poked and prodded! Hmm wonder why?

I really hope none of the dolphins are harmed because of this.

Ugh. Don't people expect this? I'm semi-okay with captive-born dolphins, but really. I seriously hope that they don't punish the dolphin for it, it wasn't its fault.
Just let the dolphins go already!! I can understand that is a dolphin is sick or abandoned, they are taken into reserves and shelters to get well again, but people just going out and catching wild dolphins so people can swim and stare at them in a tiny glass tank? No, that doesn't flow with me. :(

It wasnt dolphins, Just One dolphin. Picasso is a 14yr old dolphin. Dolphin Discovery has dolphins in large pens not a tank. They wont put him down, but if i know programs like this, he wont participate in this program, until he once again relearns how to act around people he doesnt know.
Maybe something spooked him "just looked confused" is what they say. it had to be something, especially if he was suddenly reacting out like that maybe a social issues (tension) within the pod or something else (dolphins are entitled to bad days). It doesnt always have to do "being poked and prodded".

I suddenly have this strange image in my head of when the dolphins attacked Springfield on treehouse of horrors... that's what this reminds me of.

They won't put an animal down for biting someone. I don't know Mexico's rules, but dolphins are expensive to train, house, feed, and get. You don't just put one down, look at the case of the Orca killing its trainer awhile back. It had killed two other people before and to my knowledge it hasn't been put down.
