Green striped sequin tail

I posted about my first design a week or so ago, but the colors weren't sitting right with me, so I reimagined the whole thing. I'm going to be making it out of neoprene, painted and partially sequined. I'll also be using chiffon and flexible wire for the fins.

Aaaand... I just ordered a Finis Competitor monofin!!! The Wave has served me well, but I'm going freediving with this one...

I've cut the pieces out of neoprene. Originally, I was going to get 2mm neoprene from Foamorder, but they were out of stock and offered me a few color choices of 3mm instead. Since I was planning on glueing/handstitching anyway, I went for a sheet of 3mm tan neoprene for warmth and hopefully better smoothing out of leg lines and heels. Thankfully, I was able to fit my pattern on the one sheet. When I started measuring, I was afraid I'd have to order another one.

I'm also planning to modify my monofin Jade-style (http://mernetwork.com/index/showthread.php?2548-First-time-tailmaking-Jade-s-attempt&highlight=jade+monofin). Has anyone had experience using E6000/duct tape on fiberglass?

I am able to get back on the forums now, so let me know if you have any questions as you modify it :) And I LOVE your design. I really want to do a dark tail... I'd go for green, but I'm not sure it'd go with my skin/hair. Sigh.
