Hi Everyone,

I would like to know if anyone would be interested in buying PLAIN/BLANK Neoprene tails ( made to fit )

Im not sure what the going rate of one elsewhere is but here in Thailand I get them made by wetsuit tailors and they are good quality and inexpensive.

Please let me know if this is something anyone of you is interested in !

Thanks

Interesting. What are the price ranges and shipping costs? Do you have any pictures of completed tails?

this could be a really awesome idea for people who arent good at sewing/measuring/etc, but want to make their own tail sort of. they could paint it on their own.

I believe Hot Wave Wetsuits is based in Phuket, and yeah, they'll do just about anything. Also quite a number of US manufacturers have their stuff made in Thailand, so the area has neoprene comming out their ears, whereas in the US, we have to scrounge for it! Tail blanks would be nice to have available!

Yup, I'm right.

As cheap as Thai built 2-3mm wetsuits are over here, I'd figure about $50-70. It's mainly the neoprene and not that much sewing involved. A shorty wetsuit would have more work put into it than a tail blank. However, it would be based on demand as well, so not much demand will result in higher prices.

I dont use Hotwave for the tails as they are actually super expensive compared to my tail supplier. Im glad to get a good response from you all I will post some pictures of my blank tail with Hydra monofin soon and I will find out about the shipping for you all and get some price lists made up :) x

Now other than black will there be other colors of neoprene offered? Cause sometimes black is a little harder to paint on?

Ok Guys so I still have to check the shipping but the neoprene tail base would cost $130 + shipping ... The colours vary depending on the thickness but im sure I would be able to order specific colours if requested !
