Mermaid TV Show OUT SUNDAY 16th

Hey guys,

So in August I took part in Mermaid Kat's International Mermaid Workshop. This was filmed by VOX TV - a german TV company for a show called " Goodbye Germany"

The show takes you through our journey to become mermaids including - Our training sessions - classroom, in the pool training and self rescue plus breath hold times etc. Then the ocean swimming day on the dive boats, our road trip to Pattaya ! and finally our Swim for Sharks in the Underwater World at Pattaya. And I'm sure there will be some funny outtakes too ! Hope you all log on a check it out !

Katrin und Spencer Felton leben auf der Insel Phuket:
Katrin (27) und Spencer Felton(28) leben seit sechs Monaten auf der Insel Phuket im Süden Thailands. Die beiden sind hier erfolgreiche Tauchlehrer. Katrin, die 2006 Miss Germany wurde, steht vor einer großen, beruflichen Herausforderung. Sie will sechs Schülerinnen aus aller Welt beibringen, wie man sich als Meerjungfrau unter Wasser bewegt. Das 27-jährige Model plant eine Unterwassershow in Thailands größtem Ozeanum. Vor Publikum sollen die Meerjungfrauen in einem Haifischbecken tauchen.
Aber schon beim Training gibt's Probleme. Die Mädchen sind nicht fit unter Wasser. In den Kostümen werden sie schnell panisch und können nicht lange genug tauchen. Katrin weiß, dass unruhiges Verhalten katastrophale Folgen im Haifischbecken haben kann. Werden alle Schülerinnen fit für den Auftritt?
Die Generalprobe im Meer verläuft nicht zu Katrins Zufriedenheit. Die Mädchen werden beim Tauchen zu schnell nervös. Katrin fürchtet um die Sicherheit der Mädchen. Kann sie die Show im Haifischbecken absagen?
Katrin, an ex Miss Germany 2006 wants to teach 6 people to swim underwater like a mermaid. The 27 year old model is planning a show in in Ozeanum - in the shark tank. Already there are issues in training; the girls are not fit underwater, they swim too frantic, too fast. Katrin knows unruely behaviour can have catastrophic consequences - are the students ready for the gig?
The dress rehearsal in the sea does not fulfil her ambitions, she fears for their safety. Should she cancel the show in the shark tank?

Sorry for the quick translation; typical for a tv show they try to put spin onto it. You should be able to watch online for about 1 week after the show is broadcast.

Yes the TV show does put a spin on it as there weren't plans for cancelling and the "rehearsal" was actually filmed on the very first day of the workshop where we hadn't had any training yet apart from some verbal counselling..

How good is your German? Its just annoying switching between different aspects: Meerjungfrau and PJ wedding in Korea... but still fun to see you ladies enjoying yourselves.

I wish I could be on your team or could swim with you once ;) But as I'm disable and without any money (I'm not aloud to work and live with my boyfriend), I can't travel anywhere :(
