Anyone up for an interview?

Hello, I recently got involved with the whole mermaid thing from an outsider's standpoint and although I do like swimming and mythology quite a bit, I can say with some degree of certainty I won't be going out to purchase a tail anytime soon.

But your hobby/subculture/career(for some) has really piqued my interest and I'm looking to do some research into the lives of you "modern merfolk".

The end result (hopefully) involves me writing a book on interesting subcultures like yours (and quite likely, many of the others that are out there. Depends on how much material I can get. :P )

So, is anyone interested in perhaps participating in an interview and giving consent to have it published, should I manage to finish this project? Hobbyists and career mermaids would both provide excellent material, so don't be shy.

I'd be happy to help you out with this! I enjoy sharing my experiences swimming open ocean with rays, sharks, sea turtles, fish, etc. while teaching others about the dangers they face. In being a mermaid, it is like an attraction to teach and educate. :-)
