Hello everyone!
So happy I found a mermaid community! Feels like home already :)
I discovered what mermaiding was last year, and re-discovered my love of the sea and everything to do with water, and since then I've completed the 2* AIDA freediving course, the BSAC Ocean Diver SCUBA course, have joined the nearest freediving group in my area and soon enough I want to start learning to use a monofin. Then I will be getting my own mermaid tail too!
Plus I go to my uni's swimming club twice each week, and I love how easy and comfortable it is to stay underwater. I feel so clumsy and awkward on land in comparison.
Just wish uni didn't take up so much of my time so I could go out freediving more often :)
Anyways. I'm from England. I love hoop dancing too, although I'm not very good at the minute. Oh and my name's Samantha. I haven't got a mermaid name or anything though.
