Allie, it's from Koral.
Love the design Mellabellaboo! Maybe you could do pectoral fins at the top too, with the purple-fading-into-red color scheme. Just a suggestion!

I had thought about it. But I am already worried about drag. IF the drag proves to be minimal (as I really think it will be) then I MIGHT add it later. I just dont want to over do it with all the fins and then have the tail feel over worked and such. if that makes any sense. I'm a very simplicity and elegance kind of mer/gal

I hope you go with your design. I mean, couldn't you trim the fins later? I'd love to see more flowing tail designs like this. I think people want designs like this but get discouraged about the possibility of drag and no one ever actually tries it.

and im not too concerned with drag actually... I think the fabric in choice will help with that. its going to be very very light ^_^

It all looks absolutely fantastic! The design is spectacular and the color are so pretty! It's great that you are starting on your tail when you wanted to and not procrastinating. I've been "making a tail" for the past 2 years. Just one thing, the extra fins might not so to speak "sprawl" out in the water when swimming. Meaning, when you go swimming, the stream of water going around you might cause the fins to fold up on top of the tail/monofin. I've seen this happen multiple times, when there are gorgeous extra fins, but then when they swim they simply fold and not look very attractive. Most people put extra fins on latex/silicone tails because the fins wont fold up with a harder material. Fabric tends to fold or cause drag. I wouldn't worry about drag, just how the extra fins might look in the water. Besides all that the design is great! :D

Oh be assured. I take NO NONE Absolutely ZERO credit for the creation of this tail. I DESIGNED it. Mermaid Morticia of Shadow Fancy is the artist here! ALL work is HER work.
And I thought about the spread of the fins. we have a solution for that and it shall work well i think ;) we dont want to spill TOO many secrets :p

Thank you :) Morticia is one serious artist <3 she's doing such great work, and keeping me updated with literally everything that happens to my tail. She has so many innovative ideas. I can't wait to have this thing on and swimming. I have a feeling its going to some thing that has never been seen before ^_^ She's def taking neoprene above and beyond its normal standards in mermaiding. :)

You praise me too much sis xD I'm just glad you are being so patient and understanding with me. Between working full time and trying to get ready for the faire this summer, and hand painting every scale. I'm planning on attaching the fluke this weekend :)
(I'm working on finding a part-time job too, so I will have more time to work on tails :p )
