So I am sure this has been asked before, but honestly I just dont have time to search for it right now.
My monofin is coming today (YAY!!!!) this is it's first swim... do I need to do anything to "prep" it so to say? Or am I good to go from box to water?

But this is still good advice, especially the stretching part before and after swimming. I tend to not do this and I find my legs area really sore after swimming. Stretching can release the tension, and make a post workout or swim less prone to injury. Even with a monofin. :)

You will probably want lycra/thin neoprene booties. Rubber footpocket direct to skin doesn't work so well!

I agree with the booties! if you dont have any or cant buy any regular sock will work until you can get some
