So I got an email from a person who helps post mermaids for hire and they have pictues and location. Is this a legit site? Or is it just a scam to get you card number ? Mermaidtales.com someone let me know cuz id do it to improve my business but I'm affraid to.

I think it's just because its hard to find professional mermen (I've found a total of one that does parties on Facebook ) but I know for a fact there are a lot of people who would love yoga e a merman at their party or event

Hi All! Yes it's a legit site! It's kinda like the yellow pages for mermaid performers! I have had the site going for, hmmm, 1-2 years I think. I was supporting it by having google ads on it, but then google freaked out and said I couldn't do ads anymore. (they gave no reason just shut me down!)

So in order to keep the site going I totally redesigned it, and I am asking for $10 a year from each person listed. I also realized there are alot more pro mermaids out there that might want to join, so I emailed a few people I thought might be interested.

I would LOVE to have some mermen on the site but no one has joined yet!

Also there were 2 sites, mermaidTAILS, which is for tail makers, and mermaidTALES is for professional mermaids. I still personally manage MermaidTALES, but I sold mermaidTAILS to the people who make Fin Fun Mermaid Tails, so I no longer manage that site. Hope that's not too confusing...lol

I am not experienced with the site you mentioned .But i know how to check a site is legit or not ..Use the site Whoisxy.com (http://www.whoisxy.com/t3resultpage.aspx?type=domain&q=mermaidtales.com&rid=363309) to get the detail of the website.If the result shows all the details of the site (such as owner,location,etc) means it is legit site, check the review of the site in Google .I checked it .According to me it is a formatted good site.You also check it .
