How to properly store a tail?

Hey everyone! So, I just got my Fish Butt's half silicone tail, and I was wondering, what do you do with it when it's not in use? I don't really want it lying around the room because my room is really small and it takes up too much space. I have a closet, so do I store it in there? If so, how do I do that without having the silicone stick to itself?
