Thank you hun i really appreciate it :) It's actually alot harder to paint someone elses face as you have to learn to rest your hand on their face and the pressure of the brush gives different thicknesses, I'm really enjoying it so far, just fingers crossed i can get better :D

Woah. Artist overload. Your awesomeness... Is too much. This is amazing. It's stuff like this that make me just a little sad it's face paint; it eventually will fade. But that's what makes it more special. I think it would be cool if you could do like ocean wave under you eye and a sunset view above it. It kinda would a beach sunset surrounding your eye. Maybe your eye is the sun? Idk but I love your work!

I know as an artist in training their is always room for improvement but... Get better? Your talent kind of contradicts you words in my opinion. :)

:$ Wow thank you so much... i don't know what to say. I shall defineatley give that a go tomorrow as it's very late here (UK). I do own a tattoo gun and have tattooed myself and friends but gave it up as it was too much for the needles ect. I am doing painted tattoos aswell. Hoping to get work at festivals so i get free entry and paint :D

Any tips for someone that's never done it before? I'm gonna be painting faces at my niece and nephew's birthday party on Saturday, but have never really done it before. It's nothing too extravagant..just something to make it a little more fun for the kids (4 and 5 ish)

The best thing to do is watch a couple of videos on you tube. Its really hard to get it symetrical but the kids wont notice. Take a couple of simple facepaint designs otherwise they will be forever choosing what to get done. The hand you use to paint with, use your little finger to rest it on the childs face, helps balance and ateady the hand. If you can get your hands on some faceglitter (very cheap) the kids love it! And dint panic if you go wrong, use baby wipes to get rid of mistakes :-) and have fun! Do a little practice on yourself and post it here :-) x

I use diamond FX face paints which are a bit more expensive. But if your just going to do a party over the weekend then snazaroo facepaints are cheap and you can buy sets which come with a brush and sponge. Cost me £8. They only have basic colours in most sets so no matalic colours. With snazaroo, a little water to the paint goes a long way, same with the sponge, just spray/dip in a little water and squeeze excess out before using. If you can do tear drops then you will be able to do lots of designs quickley especially for little girls. Snazaroo also have books, you get one with your snazaroo set. (The book you get is not brillient but kids will love it :-) ) have fun and if you need any more help then im here. P.s - ask kids if they have sensitive skin - to wash off use baby shampoo

Thats awesome :-) sugar skulls are my favourite to paint! :-) sugar skull was my first ever face paint. I will upload pictures tomorrow! Its no where near as good as yours! I've got a new paint of chesire cat aswell :-)

That was actually my second attempt ever at the sugar skull.... the first was the night before at work. I work at a Chinese restaurant, and I think I scared the hell out of one of the cooks, cuz he looked really shocked when he saw me then kinda backed away and didn't come near me the rest of the night lol. I had a TON of fun doing it tho- very seriously thinking of doing this kind of work at Halloween time for a bit of extra cash. :)
