Hi, sugarpoultry here!

Joined because of the sudden obsession with mermaid costumes and art. I've always been a mermaid fan, but after seeing it make a comeback in popularity, I couldn't resist joining in myself! So I guess I'll say I'm an aspiring mermaid!

Every year I try to find a large project to take on, and I'm determined to create a mermaid tail/costume this year. I have a decent idea of costuming in general, I've worked making resin masks in the past and I know the basics of casting, so hopefully I can succeed. :D I was brought here by the amazing tutorial Kanti (http://mernetwork.com/index/member.php?234-Kanti) posted. Just what I needed to get started!

I'm firstly an artist, so digital drawing is my passion. Heh kind of a long story, but way back in the day my friends nicknamed me "Sugar." Then later in high school, my friends dubbed me "Poultry" (because my maiden name was Poulton and they thought it sounded like it). Then when I was looking for a username for email/forums, etc., most generic 'sugar' and 'poultry' usernames were taken, so I just fused them together. ;)
