Just to say I fel in love with this forum the first second I came up here!
I'm practicly new here (I'm here like..a week or so?) and now I'm HOOKED to this place XD
I just love how we can discuss everything around here, all the members and mods are SO kind and helpfull.
And it's so trilling about finding out how everyone finds new ways to make their dream tails <3

And not to forget: Pictures! all those lovely pictures.... <3

XD Yeah I love this place too. It's really fun, and there's always something to look at, and talk about. Even if I don't log on (which there was a time where I didn't log on for months XD) I'm still lurking around, but too lazy to log in. XD

there's not enough mernetwork love! There's a few very vocal people who hate the mernetwork, mainly because their own drama has pushed them out, so they talk like everyone hates it. You know how it is- the loudest people get heard the most. You get lots of people who wont join because of what so-and-so said instead of checking it out themselves.

Im so glad to see someone say they love it. There's so much amazing stuff here, great people, and awesome ideas! I love mernetwork too! Even though there can sometimes be drama or bad stuff, it's usually identified so people can avoid it if they wish!

And I love phantom too! :D I was so excited that I got to be apart of the Musical at my high school, even for high schoolers it was amazing!

i would absolutely adore having some mers come see me at my public events.It gives me a boost of energy when i see someone i know at the events and since your'e already there, we can invade a pool right after! after events, if its not late and wasn't super long, i like to celebrate and would like having other mers celebrate with me.
i would also LOVE to see any of you at your own event. even help if you need it.

The Phantom of the Opera is a great movie, and I love the broadway plays too. If you guys really love it, I recommend watching the sequel Love Never Dies.

Not nearly as much drama as a real family though I haven't gotten past page 6 on one of the drama posts, I think I might've only read one of the others. This place is really nice, it's like a mini vacation for your mind. lol

I've seen love never dies. i have the CD and i have the Australia production on dvd.

I like the music. the acting was phenomenal.. however i don't like the story or the concept.. Erik just doesn't seem to be like the type to allow Meg Giry to be a prostitute seeing as though he always took care of Meg and Miss Giry in the novel. but that's just me.

From what I've seen, there's a real closeness about the community here, and it's easy to make fast friends with people. :) Of course, the more like-minded a community is, the easier it is to befriend its members, but even with that in mind, the mers around here all seem to be genuinely good people, and that makes every visit here feel welcoming.

Well I only just found out about all this and joined yesterday and already I love it and am going around telling everyone who will listen that I am going to be a mermaid :D I've just been researching tail-making techniques like mad and am really excited because I am pretty sure that making a realistic tail is doable for me and hopefully by next summer I will have it done!!!

Yes, I am going to save up to make a realistic-type tail. I am not sure what materials I will be using yet (more research!) and it is going to be costly and difficult since I will be using materials I have never worked with before, but it is something I really want to do and I am sure it will be worth all the effort in the end!

PFFT! Unfortunately, I'm going to have to save for a while for a silicone tail. I'm likely going to get one made by mermaid creations, just because I've looked up EVERYONE, pretty much, and his are the only ones I've heard nothing bad about. It's going to be red and silver, I already know that.....BUT UNTIL THEN. I'll continue adventuring with my fabric tails. And making fabric tails for my friends.

Oooh red and silver, nice :D I think mine will most probably be predominantly green, as green is my favourite colour. But I don't know. The fabric tails look like fun too, I might make myself one to start out with as well

I fell in love with this place the moment I found it. I was amazed when I discovered mermaiding and that you could actually have a mermaid tail with a monofin and swim with it, and then I found an entire community of us mers!
Fortunately I've caught up on a lot of stuff recently, so now I should be able to post a lot more instead of occasionally lurking :)
