Magic: The Gathering Gatecrash

To all the Magic-savvy mers! So my boyfriend just did the prelease twice over the weekend. Saturday he did Boros and Sunday was Gruul. His birthday is February 5th and he has pretty much everything he wants (he's spoiled). He didn't really get very good cards, so I thought I would get him some good magic cards since he doesn't want me to spend much money. But I don't know enough about it to know what cards to get! Something about guild masters and planeswalkers! I'm pretty sure he really wanted a guild master. What are the best cards? His Gruul deck is green/red I think. I don't know what his Boros deck is /: for all I know, each class or whatever has specific colors! lol

Or maybe it's the guild champion?? IDK T.T

Once upon a time I tried to get into M:tG but couldn't find anyone to play with. I still have my cards, and while your post is not Greek to me, I'm afraid I can't help you too much.

The colors have to do with energy, so green is plant and red is energy. It has to do with what monsters/items you can summon and use.

Your best bet is probably to go to or call the shop that he did the pre-release at and they could probably help you. If you can't get that shop, any comic/nerd store would do.
