That's so pretty! I love it! I wish I had the patience to do something like that! (which I really don't, but somehow have the patience to spend eight hours handsewing fabric for a tail. Go figure.)

Thanks, Pickles! It definitely takes a lot of patience. I have to listen to music while doing it to help keep me sane, lol :) I lost count of how many times I stabbed my finger yesterday...:doh:

Danielle, that's looking excellent so far. Purple and yellow seem like a 'floral' colourchoice to me, and the way you've patterned the sequins in a flame-like way makes it look so striking. Regal, even!

^I used brown metallic paint to outline where I wanted the scales. It got everywhere, my legs are covered in it!

^Another shot of the front... just in case any of you were wondering, sewing sequins on a tail while it is on your body is very effective in getting the right layout for the pattern... but a tad bit painful, :headwall:

I love the flame motif! (Purple with gold accents, that's wild!) How do you manage to sew the sequins while wearing your tail? I cant imagine twisting around to do that. I 'm putting sequins on my tail and thought I should ask.

devilkitten1, I'm able to reach some parts (I've gotten used to torquing my body weirdly from marching band, lol) but for others i can't reach, I just put the tail on backwards...

I actually thought about doing that when I was putting on my sequins! It seems simple enough. I have done that a lot with costumes, "How can I make this easier so I know where to put the sequins....WEAR IT!" LOL. Great job :)
