Taniira pointed out that I've not posted an official intro yet, so.. Hi!

I'm Steve, though I answer to Scapey just as often ( Been "Scapegoat" online since 19koffkoffkoff, it became a real-life nickname, then I developed a nickname for my nickname. *Shrug*. It's a Fear Factory song, they're one of my favourite bands. :) )

I own and operate one of the largest Airsoft sites in the UK at www.s8airsoft.com, and am also a freelance DJ - alt., metal, rock, punk, industrial, rap, indie... Anything, really :)

I'm also one of the heads of the UKCM Colonial Marines costuming group, and a huge fan of the Alien movies, as well as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and most sci-fi / fantasy stuff, really.
I collect memorabilia and props from the films, mainly replicas but I do have some original pieces used in the making of a few of my favourite movies.

I met Taniira through Dragon*Con, fell in love, bought her a tail as a token of my affections, and now find myself wondering how in the hell I'mma fit a mermaid tank in my wee flat in Scotland.

I have duly been informed of my imminent "Mertender" status.
And I have also been informed that I will be getting fit before Dragon*Con in August.

I envy you, dude... Been there twice, LOVE it.
My kids are spending summer with my Mum this year, so I'm gonna be staying with Taniira for 4 and a bit weeks.

And I'll be bringing a squad of Scottish Colonial Marines to visit for a few days after Dragon*Con as well - I can't even say how excited I am at the thought of showing then round.

Man, we're gonna be so fat at the end of it... We won't fit into our armour!

We're 4000 miles apart :( It's really hard a lot of the time, but so worth it when we are together in person. This round it'll be about 6 months in between seeing each other -- the longest we've been so far -- but we have Skype.

We just have to work on this carrying me + heavy tail thing ;)
