Hi! I'm very new!

Hello from Chicago!

I'm actually just starting to get my mermaid together (2 weeks til my tail order goes in at Fish Butts for my first tail ever, would of been sooner but, emergency household repairs). I'm actually planning a Steampunk mermaid of sorts! I am also a wig and costuming hobbiest (Hence using my Steampunk Poison Ivy as a temporary avatar). I'm hoping to do my first shoot once lake Michigan thaws out in April and will be posting updates on my facebook fan page if any one is interested: www.facebook.com/LadyKaieta. Hope to learn a thing or two from the fourms as I start building her!

Ooo I'd love to see that!! My big project for it is some Worbla/wonderflex pieces and making them at least kinda look like metal (my painting skills are uh, lacking?)

YEAH!!! I'll have to poke you about good places for shoots once I get her done! when I announced that I was doing a steampunk mermaid I had about 4 photographers freak out. Seems a lot of the locals out here LOVE mermaids but can never find them!
