In our new upcoming show, Mystic Waters, Elena and I are two different kinds of mermaids since we have different tails. My character is a Mediterranean mermaid, and Elena's character is an Atlantic mermaid. Your mermaid species depends on where you got turned into a mermaid. I got turned into a mermaid closer to the Mediterranean sea, while Elena got turned into a mermaid closer to the Atlantic. So I thought it would be fun to see what different kinds of mermaids there are on here.

I was born in the Caribbean, and that's where I technically got my first tail (No monofin, home made fabric tail when I was 11!). So I consider myself a Caribbean mermaid, despite now only swimming in the Pacific!

Specifically, I was born in Oceanside, California. I would be a Pacific mermaid. But that is not the place I long to be. I personally feel like a Mermaid off the coast of Seychelles and that's what it'll always be for me.

I'm a Freshwater Mermaid from the Great Lakes :)
I went on to this quiz site that would tell you what kind of mermaid you would be, and I turned out to be a 'Blue Coastal Watcher' But I always imagined Kalani to be a nomad from Alaska and the Polar regions, but traveled to the Caribbean for a few years. Probably going back to the cold waters though. That is what I always tell kids and stuff :)
Also, Can't wait for your show to begin!!

Bubbly everyone! I feel like there should be a name for mermaids with blue tails. There seem to be a lot of them.

Rapunzel: Ooo! Bubbly! Btw love your avatar!
It seems like all mermaids love clear water! I absolutely LOVE it too! I might have the privilege to swim in it this summer when (if) we go to Greece.
I guess if I had to label it, a Coral Sea mer.

I think I'd live in some sort of murky lake xD I do love clear water, but there's something about the dark, murky, seaweeded depths of a lake that makes me want to curl up and sleep. <3

..yknow what? i have no idea...
I'd be a freshwater lake/river mermaid (kinda like a river dolphin) i suppose. tiny in stature. or an arctic mermaid (i'm canadian), but i long to be by the sea.
and i also love to be in hot weather at the beach and crystal clear waters...
or just slightly chilly by the rocks....
i am conflicted.
