View Full Version : March Weeki Wachee Meet

Hi all! I am trying to organize a small meet at Weeki Wachee sometime in March. It has seemed like a very long winter to me, and I need some mermaid activity, so I thought mermaids going to Weeki Wachee would be a great winter/ early spring event! I don't have a date yet, so please tell me when you think would be a good day.

Some quick info-
It is $13 for a day pass and parking is free.
The hours are 9 to 5:30 every day.
The mermaid shows are at 11, 1:30 and 3.
The best guess I can find for the weather is that it will be between 60 to 80.
Tail swimming is not allowed.

I would love to go as long as its not the weekend of the 15th. Any chance we could settle on a date/time soon? :-)

just know you can't swim in your tails there, they don't allow it. We asked when I visit. they have some very valid reasons in my opinion. but yeah, no tail swimming allowed!

Ah yes, thanks Raina I forgot to mention that! As for a date it's between the 3rd, 9th, 10th, 24th, 30th or 31st, any votes?

Unfortunately my tires have become an emergency situation and I will have to move the meet. I'm seeing if the 1st works for others.

Alright, I'm hoping April 6th will work for Weeki Wachee. I don't think you need all day, so how about we plan to meet there at noon?

I wish I could but I won't be in Alabama until after that :(. Not to mention the weeki wachee springs would still be 8 hrs away

Adella I'm sorry it won't work for you! I wish I could make a teleporter so it was easier for everyone to get where they want to go.
