Hi All,
Longtime lurker, first-time poster... from what I've read, "coming out" and succeeding as a mer-person can include its share of blowback. Because of our social conditioning, women, especially, can be vulnerable to this; I've even seen posts where mers wanted to give up on their dreams due to the ripples they made. I thought I'd share the following.
A life-coach friend of mine is running a free virtual class entitled, "How to Handle Haters":
'Be Bold and Beautiful no matter what gets thrown at you!
Join Master Coach Anna Kunnecke & learn to handle criticism, negativity, b*tchiness, jealousy, and passive-aggressive people -- while keeping your poise, your power, and your soul.
(When you show up big in the world, critics are part of the game. Suit up.)'

You have to give an email address to register, but she doesn't spam or anything, and there isn't any obligation to sign up for more. Having been splashed with haterade in my other careers, I can't wait to participate!
I promise that I am a real person. I just haven't had anything real to contribute until now, except this: oddly enough, when the haters show up, it's likely a sign that you're doing something right.
